What is The chicago house run?

The Chicago House Run is the cities first ever House Music 5k walk/run coming this October 5th!

Every stride is a step towards unity, diversity, and the celebration of House Music. Let's run together, celebrate together, and make memories that last a lifetime at The Chicago House Run.

When is the Race?

The race will take place on October 5th at Dvorak Park in the Pilsen neighborhood. The starting base for the run will be at Dvorak Park located at 1119 w Cullerton St, Chicago IL 60608

Who’s performing?

It wouldn’t be a House Music run without Dj’s so we’ll be showcasing some of the cities most legendary talent along side some of its youngest and freshest.

Can I walk the 5k?

Yes! Participants can walk, jog, run and even dance their way to the finish line.

do you offer group discounts?

Yes! Please email us at support@windycityevents.co for help with group discount questions.

Where can I find the course map?

The official course map will be shared online on September 1st.

Will I be able to check my gear race day?


No, gear check will not be available to participants. Runners are responsible for safely storing their gear prior to the race.

Can anyone sign up?

Yes! The race is open to participants of skill levels, ages and backgrounds.

Yes, 100% of our registrations is done online.

what is the deadline to register for the Race?

Please follow us on social media and join our mailing list to stay up to date on important inventory updates. We fully expect to sell out before race day!

Does every participant need to register?

Yes, all participants that wish to receive a shirt and finishers medal will need to have an official registration.

What do I get when i registering?

All race participants will get the following
• Glow In The Dark Runners Shirt
• Glow In The Dark Finishers Medal
• Timed Race Bib
• 1 Redemption voucher for a complimentary beer (21+ ID REQUIRED)

Can we register same day?

No, there will not be same day registration.

Are pets allowed to run the course?

Pets are allowed on the course but must be leased at all times.

I signed up but am no longer able to participate. Can I transfer my registration to another person or move it to next year?

No. Transfers are not allowed.

What kind of material is the official shirt made of?

Our running shirts are made out of 100% polyester material perfect for runners.

When will I receive shirt, bib and medal?

Participants will pick up their shirts and packets (excluding medals) at the week of the race. The location, date and times of packet pickups will be shared in mid September.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes!

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, all sales are final.

Am i required to sign a waiver?

Yes. Upon checking out when you purchase your bib you will be prompted to verify that you have read our official waiver.

Race participants will get a timed bib, and your results will be automatically recorded when you cross the finish line.
